Hi. I grew up in Sydney which is where I met my wife Rosemary whilst training for pharmacy. We had a practice at The Entrance for 19 years. We have now teamed up again at Warnervale ChemistCare.

My Favourite sports are Baseball, Cricket, Volleyball, Tennis, & Golf. Pretty much just play Golf now but I am up for most things. In 2009 I participated as a team in the Oxfam 100km Walk. Our whole team of 4 finished in 32hours.

I love being a pharmacist. In the need to pass on appropriate advice about medications and conditions you get to know people. It is all about mixing with people and seeing all the different journeys in life. Helping is a real high & builds relationships that enrich life.

My areas of interest include – Asthma & Airways conditions (3 asthmatic children); Cardiac including High Blood pressure ( I have high BP); Autoimmune conditions ( In our family we have Chrons, R.A., Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Lupus, etc); Diabetes (1.3 Million Australians know they have it and they estimate another 1.3 Million don’t know that they have it.); Fibromyalgia ( A very misunderstood condition that I have); Children’s medications (Again with 3 children I understand the pressures that parents can be under.

I love a happy work environment, I like to laugh, I find laughter lifts the spirits.

I have been working as a pharmacist for over thirty years. I enjoy being able to help people with their health enquiries. Dispensing prescriptions, explaining medications and offering advice are all very rewarding aspects of being a pharmacist.

One of my special areas of interest is asthma management. The high incidence of asthma on the Central Coast means there is a need for increased awareness of how to identify and manage the symptoms of asthma. Correctly treated asthma can lead to a greatly improved quality of life.

At ChemistCare we all take pride in our personal service, our caring and our professional advice. Our pharmacy is located in the GP Superclinic and it is a pleasure to work in such a supportive network.

I have now been working in Pharmacy for 20 years and can honestly say I enjoy it more and more as each year passes.

My personal interests are playing netball, cooking sweet treats and a good novel. I have 2 beautiful boys, 12 and 13 years old, who love their soccer and who keep me busy. Working in the pharmacy environment I enjoy meeting and getting to know all different types of people. Also take pride in doing everything I can in helping with their health concerns.

I love all aspects of pharmacy and am always learning new things each day, complimentary medicines (Vitamins) and asthma management are areas I am passionate about.

I love working at ChemistCare as the emphasis here is all about CARE.

I have been working in pharmacy for 9 years, I started when I was 14 years old as an afterschool junior and weekends. In that time I have completed my certificates 2, 3 and 4 in community pharmacy and manage the Dispensary. After finishing my HSC I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else but being in pharmacy and helping my customers, so I went from part time to full time and love it. My interests include spending time with my partner and family and also on my days off I love taking my 2 puppies for long walks. The thing I enjoy most about being a pharmacy assistant would be working with people and engaging in the community. It’s a great feeling to be able to help people feel better and have a greater understanding of their health. My areas of interest in the pharmacy include the home health and mobility sections helping people recover and to make life easier for them.

Hi, my name is Brooke and I am 18 years old.

I have worked at Warnervale chemist care for 2 years now and I love my job. This was my first job and I started as a junior pharmacy assistant doing afternoons shifts and then started working every Saturday. I have now completed my HSC and graduated high school, which means I have the opportunity to pick up more shifts here at the chemist. When I am not at work I love spending time with my friends and family and going to the beach when the weather is nice. Within my 2 years here at Warnervale chemist care I have learnt a lot about pharmacy, medications and health and I have also learnt how to dispense medications. I am hoping to go to university and become a paediatric nurse or get into midwifery. Working at Warnervale chemist care has been a great opportunity and experience for myself, and it has also helped prepare me for my future career caring about patients and their health. Warnervale chemist care is a happy and caring work environment and always making sure we provide customers with our best knowledge, products and services. It is a good and rewarding feeling working at chemist care with our friendly staff and meeting new people every day, beening able to help our community with their needs and concerns.
