We are excited to introduce you to our new Pharmacist and Owner….. Marique.

Marique has recently been working in Doc’s Pharmacy at John Hunter Hospital. This has given her a great opportunity to work alongside many great Doctors and Nurses and helped her grow professionally. Having started at the age of 15 working as a junior in pharmacy Marique has been part of the profession now for over 20 years.

As a Pharmacist she is dedicated to patient care and open communication.

I take great pride in my role as the Retail Pharmacy manager at Warnervale ChemistCare.

I started working in pharmacy when I was a school, working weekends and evenings, along the way I have been involved in a lot of areas in Pharmacy.

I find it a very happy and warming environment!

One area I am extremely passionate about is the Natural Health area. I am a firm believer in taking a active role in maintaining your own health. I am always trying to expand my knowledge and read about the latest findings. I love to build a connection with all our customers, getting to know them and helping them find solutions to any health need.

Being in the management team with John and rosemary, I work hard in teaching our other Pharmacy Assistants the skills to excel in their job and perform at their best.

One of my favourite Pharmacy products is Herbs of Gold Magnesium, I would not know what to do without this gem! It keeps me relaxed and eases my aches and pains from working out in the gym.

When I am not working, you will find me at the gym, enjoying the sun at the beach with my husband and 2 sons.

Hi my name is Fiona, I work in the dispensary with John and Rosemary as a dispense technician.

I have been with this amazing team for 4 years now but have been working in pharmacy for 20 years, 15 of those years was in hospital pharmacy.

My job here as senior dispense technician is to dispense all of your scripts alongside the pharmacist, maintain appropriate stock levels in the dispensary and assist the pharmacist wherever possible, to allow them to spend as much time with the customers.

My spare time away from work is usually spent running around after my young son.

I started working in pharmacy 7 years ago when I was in high school doing weekend and night shifts. I enjoyed the challenging and rewarding atmosphere of working in pharmacy so much I moved to a full-time position, as a pharmacy shop assistant, helping our customers with their everyday health needs and concerns.

I love working in an environment where I can learn at the same time and use my knowledge to assist customers in every way I can. As well as serving customers, I do a lot of the displays and signage for the pharmacy, to give more information on our products and our store.

Woking in Pharmacy has made me take great care of my own health as we are exposed to many illnesses. The product I have found helps me the most is the Oriental Botanicals Astragalus 8, which helps boost my immune system.

When I am not working you will find me at the farm at home working with my horses or hanging out with my partner and friends. I look forward to seeing you around in the pharmacy!

I started working in pharmacy 4 years ago, when I was 15 and studying at school. I worked after school and on weekends. This experience helped me develop my understanding and skills I have today in my role in pharmacy.

My role at Warnervale ChemistCare is to pack the Webster Packs, which helps many of our customers live independently and manage their own medications, with our assistance of packing. I have recently been promoted to full time Webster Packing Manager. I also assist in dispensary as a dispense technician and I help with customer service on the shop floor.

My favourite product would personally be Rescue Remedy as it is a great herbal medication which helps reduce stress, anxiety and helps promote a well-balanced sleep. I found this product beneficial throughout my HSC, which I completed in 2019. It helped me overcome stress and anxiety whilst undergoing exam pressure.

In my free time, I spend time with my family, my partner, and my friends: chilling out, watching movies, going on picnics, going to the beach, and camping.

I have been working as a pharmacy assistant for the past few years. I assist customers from their everyday health needs to things like hiring equipment and assisting with their diabetes requirements.

I mainly work afternoons and some weekends as I am currently studying in year 12. Next year I am hoping to be studying nursing to further fulfil my work knowledge and joy in helping people with their health needs.

When I am not at school or here at the pharmacy, you would find me at the gym, playing netball or spending time with friends and family. My favourite product is hydralyte, as it keeps me feeling hydrated during a game of netball and is my go-to product when feeling a bit flat.

I am a Pharmacy Assistant and work in the afternoons after school as well as Saturdays.

As a Pharmacy Assistant I help customers in the front of the shop and other areas where I can. I make sure the pharmacy is clean, tidy, and fully stocked, ready for the next day. I have also been recently trained in dispensing Prescriptions. . On Saturdays, I work with John and Rosemary dispensing Prescriptions in the dispensary.

I am currently in Year 11; I have been working in the pharmacy for over a year and have already learnt many new things. I enjoy learning all about the numerous products in our pharmacy and working behind the counter in the Dispensary. My favourite product would be the Immune Defence by Ethical Nutrients as it keeps me feeling healthy.

In the future I hope to complete my HSC and continue into the medical industry, helping others with their health. I spend my free time with friends and family, usually shopping, going to the beach and going on adventures.

Hi, my name is Sandra. I joined Chemistcare as a pharmacy assistant in 2015. While I was in high school when I first started here, I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree at university. Within our team, I help customers with getting their scripts filled and selecting products from the shop.

A product from our store that I really like is the Jojoba Company’s Skin Balancing Oil. It’s main ingredient, Jojoba, is a natural wax ester that is very compatible with our skin and has a wide variety of benefits. Because the Balancing Oil is very lightweight, I like to add a drop into my moisturiser and apply both products together.

Outside of work, I love to read and am always looking for new and interesting books. Learning a new language also interests me and is something that I aspire to achieve in the future.

I work part time after school as a Pharmacy Assistant, my role is helping customers with their Healthcare needs and keeping the shop spick and span.

I’ve only recently joined the Chemistcare team at the beginning of 2021 and I thoroughly enjoy working in such a welcoming environment with such friendly people.

I’m currently in Year 11 attending Mackillop Catholic College right across the road.

My favourite product would have to be Inner Health Plus Probiotics as they really help maintain a healthy and strong immune system!

When I’m not studying or working you can find me hanging out with friends and family or playing soccer.

I started working as a Pharmacy Assistant at the beginning of 2021 and am currently in Year 10.

I quickly came to the realization that I love this friendly environment and team who have been so welcoming to me as well as teaching me numerous new things (even when asking so many questions!).

At the moment, I work in the afternoons after school taking scripts in and helping people with their needs as well as getting through tasks to make the Pharmacy prepared for the next day.

I am always learning about products in the Pharmacy to expand my knowledge for myself, and to assist customers when they come into the Pharmacy. My favourite product is Fisiocrem, as I have found this has helped me when I have injuries from dancing.

In the future, I hope to complete my HSC and further my study in the field of science or engineering.In my free time, I am at the studio dancing, studying, watching a movie or looking through my telescope.
